Negative Thinking (Examples) Positive Reflections (include)
I must be a high achiever and be perfect. It is part of the human experience to be less than perfect.
I have spent considerable time trying to meet my goals, and I foresee I won’t do well. I can survive and know how to adjust to changes that impede my goals.
All people, including at work, cope better and are more efficient than me.  They meet all timelines and are more knowledgeable and experienced. I don’t know how people are coping. I am different from my family and friends and have intersecting and unique goals, visions, and experiences.
I feel overwhelmed.  I have addressed difficult situations, can work through my current needs and problems, and know when and where to reach out for support.

Consider the big picture engaging:

  • mindfulness
  • self-awareness
  • personal and social resilience
  • grounded reality
  • calming places.
